About Me
Hi, my name is Filip Szulik-Szarecki.
I am an analyst and the manager of a fact-checking project, where I focus on verifying disinformation. Beyond analytical work, I enjoy engaging with people, which is why I conduct educational workshops for students, university attendees, and journalists.
I hold a degree in Applied Sociology and Social Anthropology from the University of Warsaw. My master’s thesis explored the online community of the Polish manosphere and the phenomenon of frustrated men online.
Previously, I collaborated with the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology as part of a team developing tools to support the detection of disinformation.
This is my digital notebook, focusing less on work and more on my side projects at the intersection of technology and DIY. Privately, I’m a casual Wikipedia editor. I strive to combine academic knowledge with practical skills, as well as technical expertise with a humanistic perspective.
